A 13 year- old girl was yesterday raped to death by a suspected ritualist whose name was given as Mr. Chuka Nwosu, at Bathonic Hotel, Issele-Uku, Aniocha North local government area of Delta State.
It was alleged that the 13 year- old girl was hypnotized before been raped by the suspect.
Investigation revealed that the victim died at El Comfort Hospital Bonsaac, Asaba.
According to community Sources, “before her death, she told her sister that Chuka Nwosu took her to Bathonic hotel Issele-Uku where she was raped and then used a white tissue paper to wipe blood from her private part”.
It was further learnt that the body of the deceased was deposited at Federal Medical Centre (FMC) morgue, Asaba.
Information has it that Chuka Nwosu is on the run after the death of the girl for fear of being killed by aggrieved Youths who were hunting for him.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright confirmed the incident and added that the Police are investigating the matter
