See what the Police did ahead the coronation ceremony of the Olu Of Warri

In preparation for the forthcoming coronation ceremony of the Olu of Warri-designate Omo Oba Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko,  scheduled to hold on August 21, 2021, the Delta State Police Comand has deployed 1000 policemen and two bomb squads for effective policing & Security.

This was contained in a Press Statement issued by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe.

According to the Statement, aside the 1000 force men that will be deployed for the ceremony, two bomb squads has been mandated to report 2 days before the coronation day to ensure safety for invited guests.

“The CP warns mischief makers to steer clear as the command is more than ready to deal decisively with anybody who tries to disrupt or cause any form of mischief during the coronation” the statement warns

“All that needs to be done to ensure that the event is itch-free and devoid of any form of violence has been put in place. To this end, the CP has directed the Area Commander Warri, Divisional Police Officers, Tactical Operations Officers of the Command to leave no stone unturned towards ensuring thorough supervision of personnel deployed for the actualization of peace and tranquillity during and after the coronation ceremony” it concluded
