Isoko South I decides: PDP in early lead as collation of results begin

Early results filed in by our correspondents from the various collation centres in the Isoko South constituency I by-election suggest that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Hon. Ovuakpoye Evivie is conveniently coasting to victory with a wide margin.

At Irri ward 10 Unit 7, the PDP got 80 v0tes while APC and SDP got 23 and 5 respectively. Also, at Irri Ward 10 unit 04, PDP defeated her two closest rivals scoring 103 votes while SDP and APC hot 6 and 17 votes respectively. At Irri ward 10 unit 03, APC scored 18 votes, SDP 07 while PDP got 103 votes.

Results of Irri ward 11 where the immediate past Chairman of the council and Director-General of the PDP, Sir. Itiako Constantin Ikpokpo are still been awaited as at the time of filing this report.

Mainwhile, results trickling in from Oleh, the administrative headquarters of the Local government aren’t different either. At Oleh Ward 1 unit 19, PDP got 134 votes while APC got 40 votes. SDP and ADC polled 7 and 1 votes respectively. At Oleh Ward 2 unit 011, PDP got 79 votes while APC and SDP got 26 and 12 votes respectively.

More results are still been awaited.
